01 / ORIENTATION

A regenerative tradition

A method developed for repair

Prolotherapy is an ancient technique that became a mainstream scientific medical practice in the 1950s through the work of Drs. Hemwall and Hackett.

02 / BODY ATLAS

Where pain meets repair

CCIM uses prolotherapy for degenerated joints and for non-healing areas of ligament, muscle, and tendon that commonly contribute to chronic pain. These tissues may heal more slowly than bone because their blood supply is more limited.

03 / CLINICAL MAP

Before an injection, locate the source

Evaluation may combine a detailed physical examination, CCIM's Structural Alignment Assessment, and a review of X-ray or MRI findings. The aim is to identify the structures that need attention before planning treatment.

04 / THE PROCESS

From evaluation to gradual repair

Every stage stays visible: the consultation shapes the treatment plan, the injection is precise, and the response is followed over time.

  1. 01

    Map the tender areas

The clinician examines the painful region and marks the specific areas selected for treatment.

  2. 02

    Prepare for comfort

The skin over the treatment area is numbed with lidocaine before the prolotherapy injections begin.

  3. 03

    Deliver the prolotherapy solution

The solution is injected into the selected joint, ligament, tendon, or tendon-to-bone attachment.

  4. 04

    Activate the repair response

The needle tip and injected solution promote an acute inflammatory response, triggering the immune system to heal the area and regenerate cartilage and ligaments.

  5. 05

    Follow healing over time

Stiffness for two to five days is expected, followed by a gradual healing process leading to lasting healing. Smaller joints generally need fewer treatments; larger joints may require more.

05 / PROLIFERANTS

Solutions selected for a proliferative response

Dr. DV uses dextrose and selected hormones—including growth hormone, testosterone, and progesterone—as proliferative agents. The treatment plan is chosen through the clinical evaluation.

Hormone and pharmaceutical treatments may also be useful for people in pain when selected through the clinical plan.

2–5

days of expected stiffness

Gradual healing follows this initial period. Smaller joints generally need fewer treatments; larger joints may require more.

Repair + reintegration

Structural Alignment Yogatherapy

CCIM pairs joint-repair care with Structural Alignment Yogatherapy when appropriate and describes the combination as a modality to resolve pain for good. Clinical yoga is applied to medical problems, with Elaina customizing total-body reintegration and realignment work around the individual.

The goal is to optimize structural and psychospiritual alignment, resolve pain, enhance self-knowledge, and cultivate an experience of coherent harmony.

Structural, energetic, and psychospiritual assessment occurs through an Integrative Alchemy clinical evaluation.

07 / PATIENT EXPERIENCES

Experiences from the joint-repair path

Finally found a physician who truly cares about the welfare of his patients. Because of Dr. DV's help, I started functioning much better and the chronic pain I was suffering from was under control. Thank you for everything.

I have become a strong believer in prolotherapy injections. Dr. DV recommended and gave me three sets of injection treatments to my right shoulder because it was popping out of place three to four times a day, causing a lot of pain and discomfort. After my injection treatments I no longer have the pain and discomfort.
